Frequently Asked Questions

What are WoW Prints?

WoW Prints are one-of-a-kind, custom statues of your World of Warcraft® characters created using high-tech 3D color printing machines, officially licensed by Blizzard™. Our algorithms and artists pull your character from the virtual world and bring it to life.

How are WoW Prints created?

Our servers grab your latest character data from World of Warcraft's servers, create a custom 3D model, and then let you choose among a broad range of poses. Once you are happy with the way it looks you simply hit “Order” and our proprietary software prepares the model for printing. Our artists finish the process, turning your selection into a high-quality collectible. Once it has passed our artists’ inspection, your print is glued to a wood base, sealed under a glass dome and carefully packaged and shipped directly to your home.

I was with you up to the “printed” part. How do you print a statue?

We use high definition and full colors 3D printing machines to convert three dimensional computer models into physical objects. The electronic version of your WoW Statue is cut up into more than a thousand very thin slices. The printer creates a slice at a time and the slices are stacked on top of each other to form the final three dimensional statue that we call a WoW Statue. Colors are embedded within the materials. We remove it from the machine, hand finish it, mount it in a glass display dome and it’s ready to go.

What are WoW Prints made of?

They are built out of a plaster-like powder called Sandstone that is then bonded and sealed to make it strong and colorful. We varnished them by hand to obtain a super finish.

Will the character be exactly as I see it on the screen?

It will be very close, but not exactly the same. Please remember that to create these pieces of art, there are several stages that our artists and machines must complete to translate game data to a physical model. Our custom software, along with our art team, interprets the model data from the game and transforms it into a physical representation of the character. This interpretation includes increasing the resolution, identifying and thickening certain aspects of each model that are too thin to print, brightening the colors, and sharpening small details to enhance your individual WoW Statue.

Some light changes of pose may also occur to get more robustness of your toy. Indeed, during the final pass our artists may tweak the angle and position of the weapons and armor to make a stronger and more aesthetically pleasing final statue. They may also need to add additional support elements to make sure that the print is stable given the gear and/or pose you have chosen.

How big are WoW Prints?

We print all Statues in scale relative to each other so depending on the race of the character and the pose chosen the resulting statue can be as large as 20 cms tall. Smaller characters have the option to be printed on larger bases to give them a boost.

How much do they cost?

WoW Prints cost $189.95 plus shipping for characters. Please note that some countries deliveries may be subject to additional VAT taxes, brokerage fees, and duties on delivery.

How long will it take after I order to receive my WoW Statue?

While our goal is to complete each print in 4 to 6 weeks, it can take 2 or 3 months in cases where we have a particularly difficult character pose or high load. We appreciate your patience; we think you'll be pleased with the results when your World of Warcraft Statue arrives.

Why can’t I get it right now?

As a work of art, the Statues requires a great deal of individual time and effort. Trying to rush the process would be detrimental to the quality of the product.

What is the refund/exchange policy?

Because WoW Printss are considered customizable art pieces, they are non-refundable items. Should a Statue break prior to you receiving it you must contact us (send email to [email protected]) as soon as you have received it and noticed that your print has been damaged in shipping. Open the box when the delivery man is still with you and refuse to sign anything if your order is damaged. Important, please document the damage by taking a few digital photographs of the cardboard box as well as from the broken toy. We will get a replacement out to you as soon as possible.

Why can’t I get my guild name or PVP rank on my Statue? Do you have plans to do this in the future?

Due to the length of many of the guild names/ranks, we are unable to offer them at this time. Offering these as customizable aspects in the future is something we are exploring.

As a Hunter, my pet is an important part of my character, can you print it too?

Unfortunately we do not support printing anything other than characters at this time. This includes hunter and warlock pets, druid animal forms, and other non-combat pets. We have had many requests for this feature and we hope to add it at some point in the future.

We are also offering a shop with standalone pets for purchase here => https://store.uum3d.com/en/wow/

I just placed an order. How long do I have to wait until I can change my gear in the game?

Once your order is placed we have all the data we need to create your WoW Statue, so after you order you can do anything you wish with your character in the game including name changes and changing servers.

What will happen for special gears like floating or glowing items? And Transmog items?

We link floating items to the nearest part of the character body (e.g. a floating crown will be attached to the head). Glowing effects are translated in bright colors as near as possible to what is seen on screen. We cover most of transmog… but not all of them.

May I do a special order direct to you, something not available in your shop?

We have many cool demands for other games or for special orders on WoW, like cake toppers for wedding or 2 toys on a single base under a single dome. Unfortunately we can’t accept that as we can’t make them, neither from a technical, legal or process standpoint.

What we have however is a nice shop for HEARTHSTONE 3D printed mobile cases featuring backs and fronts cards that you can visit here => https://hearthstone.uum3d.com
